Managing Partner:

Robert Lanz, CPA- Financial Management Services, SEC and Audit Support Services
Bob Lanz has over 35 years accounting and management experience. Prior to joining Ramp Partners, he was an audit and business advisory partner in the Silicon Valley offices of BDO Seidman, LLP, an international accounting and consulting firm and Meredith, Cardozo, Lanz & Chiu, LLP.

He previously retired from KPMG, a Big-4 accounting firm, after a 27-year career with that firm, where he was an audit and SEC reviewing partner in the Silicon Valley, New York, and Los Angeles offices. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of public and private companies, including a successful IPO. He has advised many Asian companies in the U.S. on global growth and compliance matters.

Bob is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, and a CPA in California and New York. He is active in professional and community activities, including the Association for Corporate Growth and Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley.

Lynn Ching, CPA - Accounting Services, Venture Company Services
Lynn Ching has 16 years experience providing accounting and taxation services to various partnerships, corporations and high net worth individuals. Prior to joining Ramp Partners, Lynn was a principal at Venture Associates, a venture capital (VC) services firm which provides accounting and taxation services to various VCs and private equity firms in Silicon Valley.

Lynn was a manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) Venture Capital & Private Equity Group, whose clients included the majority of venture capital firms in the San Francisco Bay Area. At PWC, Lynn handled complex venture capital partnership tax returns, financial statements, quarterly reports, fund formation, liquidation, allocation, and distribution.

Prior to PWC, Lynn held managerial positions at KPMG and Kenneth Leventhal (acquired by Ernst & Young). Lynn is a director of Asia Silicon Valley Connection (ASVC), a key technology organization in Silicon Valley and Asia with over 3000 members and comprised of venture capitalists, senior technology executives, service providers, and entrepreneurs.

Pat Coan- Financial Management Services
Pat Coan has over twenty-five years of financial management and operations experience with high technology companies. Prior to joining Ramp Partners he was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Operations at inChorus, Inc, a public company. Prior to that he was Chief Financial Officer of Dryden Engineering Corporation, where he was instrumental in the negotiation and sale of the company to MPW Corporation. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Fairchild Technologies, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Optical Media International, where he negotiated the sale of the company to Microtest Corporation.

His previous employment experience includes ten years at Memorex Corporation and three years at Raychem Corporation. His contributions include raising capital, renegotiation of debt repayment terms, joint venture structuring, technology sales, mergers and acquisitions, growing company sales, and IPO preparation.

Pat earned his B.S. in Economics and MBA in Finance from the University of Oregon.
